We are proud of what we do and will seek to identify your favorite picks and loves to give you a space to embrace! From full-scale design projects to simple makeovers and furniture placement, we invite you to take a look at our gallery and see what we have done. Below are some of our favorite "Before and After" projects.

Living Room

In this room the original parquet floor could literally be lifted from the floor. I  began the transformation with gorgeous hand scraped strand woven bamboo floors The classic brick fireplace was intact and in good shape and a simple whitewash brought this beauty back to life! The room was painted in Behr "Soft Lime White" to enhance the floor and brick without overwhelming it. Stained wood deep-slab benches with underneath storage were added as built-ins to hold firewood and files in a aesthetically pleasing way as well as providing roomy additional seating. Since the original lanterns lend to the farmhouse style, I freshened them with a coat of pewter spray. They provide lovely vintage nostalgia to the home's original 70's time period. An old shipping crate is repurposed as a coffee table Fun farmhouse style decor and some family collectibles are sprinkled throughout to create this warm and cozy space to relax.

Kitchen

This kitchen was everything old and drab. The obvious plus was the huge size! Completely gutted, the smart original layout was kept, with a few tweaks. The bamboo floors flowed in from the main floor area. (I know, I know - wood floors in a kitchen are a no no! But I don't care; I love them!) White shaker style maple cabinets are adorned with a show stopping real thin brick back splash that reaches to the ceiling wherever possible - brick is rich and timeless. The upper cabinets were purposely set higher than standard to give more open counter space and create an impression of ceilings higher than their true 8'. A gorgeous custom stove hood is made on the cheap! ( Made from the back side of leftover bamboo flooring!) A blue glass accent wall offers a soft  and modern touch to balance the adjoining brick. A custom copper awning over the window makes a statement on an otherwise understated wall. The island boasts a reclaimed and painted set of the old cabinets with a butcher block top to seal the farmhouse feel! The adorable coffee station was made from a vintage dresser found at a yard sale for $10! Add a wood beam, copper accents and LOTS of bright beautiful lighting in bubble glass and you have a kitchen to die for!

Bathroom

This bathroom began as the prior owners attempt to upgrade with already outdated materials. The entry wall was moved to encompass some wasted hall space to allow for a large vanity with double sinks. The vanity itself is proof that dated can be vogue - a fresh color of paint and new hardware can revive and bring a classic style back to life. Old style rectangular vessel sinks and well pump faucets lend to the farmhouse vibe. Simple color coordinated glass tile extends the length of the wall to create a seamless linear design. Over-sized galvanized steel mirrors provide for plenty of workspace and seal the entire space as a feature. The soothing green and gray tones, the addition of a transom window over the door alongside raw shiplap and the faux tin tiles bordering the tub area all add their own touches to make this a special place to conduct your business!

Front Porch

This ranch style brick house was big and boring. The undersized windows and plain UGLY front porch cried out for a makeover! The brick was lime-washed ( a technique that is fun and easy!) The windows were replaced and the fresh white frames definitely helped. The skinny shutters were traded for over-sized "board and batten" style shutters to create an illusion of larger windows. (an easy $50 project that even you can do!) The front door was replaced and the porch floor and door were painted in complimentary shades of gray. A custom swing bed was hung and painted to match the shutters. The showstopper here is the porch ceiling that was gutted and opened to the front then lined with "wenge" stained wood slats. The brick support columns boast a matching wood base surround. New beautiful lighting adorns it all. Trust me, you could sit on this porch ALL DAY LONG!

Tuttle Office Project

This office was already full of energy and tons of positive motivational words and mindset. Just waiting to manifest into a tangible sensory environment. Donnie wanted a "Coastal Farmhouse" feel - the freedom and escape that the coast brings wrapped in warmth rustic nostalgia. The family photo gallery was important to him so we backed it in the ocean blue and interspersed some "living" elements.  Donnie has a LARGE (4'x 6') whiteboard wall which he uses daily to forge inspiration. But its ugly! As the family loves to travel, I was able to locate a perfect fit in a beautiful custom designed push pin map to mark his travels. I designed a gray frame around the white board and a way for the canvases to easily slip in and out of it for a change of view or future travel planning as well as to readily convert the room to a guest room when needed.  Decorative shelving boasts coordinating decor and provides book storage. The highlight is the custom live edge sycamore slab "sit to stand" desk. Take a closer look! It's a beauty!
